Ah.. I’ve just finished reading through the story of MDWAV1. Now, I finally understand how deep the love between Xiao Ling and Tian You is.. However, I am still currently looking for websites which will provide me with the story of MDWAV 2.. Hopefully, I can then be in a betta position to understand MDWAV 3..
Casts: Ma XiaoLing ( Joey Meng ), Kuang Guo Hua ( Later known as Kuang Tian You ) ( Eric Wan ), Long Yi ( Kenneth Chan ), Zheng Zhong, Zhen Zhen ( Kristy Yang )
Story Plot:
It all began 60 years ago, during WW2. The Japanese were invading Hong Kong. Guo Hua was part of the anti-Japanese group. One day, he was on a mission, when he met Long Yi, a Japanese Commander. They exchanged blows when suddenly Vampire Commander appeared. He bite Guo Hua, Long Yi as well as FuSheng, a kid who happened to be nearby.
60 years later..
Guo Hua assumed the identity of Kuang Tian You. Armed with the super powers of a vampire, Tian You was a super cop. Fu Sheng assumed the role of Tian You’s son and was schooling at that point of time. Though young looking, he had the heart of a 70+ old man.
On the other hand, Ma XiaoLing was a ghost catcher and carried on the Ma’s family responsibility of exterminating evil from Earth. However, on the surface, XiaoLing appears to be someone who puts money before anything. She had a best friend known as Zhen Zhen, who was sweet and innocent.
XiaoLing was paid to exorcise ghosts in Japan. Zhen Zhen followed along. Tian You was on his cop mission to Japan in order to arrest some escaped suspects. By chance, the threesome met each other. Zhen Zhen fell in love with Tian You from the moment he stepped forward to save her from a ghost.
Upon returning to Hong Kong, Xiao Ling accepted Zheng Zhong to be her disciple.
Meanwhile, there seems to be a sharp increase in the number of people murdered. And upon investigation, Xiao Ling believes that those crimes must be committed by a vampire. True enough, the mastermind was actually Long Yi.
Long Yi had lost his wife and thus, in order to save himself from getting hurt, he had bite his own daughter and her bf so that they’ll always keep him company. However, this was not enough for Long Yi, who wished that the whole of the world would be transformed into vampires.
Xiaoling, with the help of Tian you, traces the mastermind to be Long Yi. They then began to work on a plan to help the world avert this calamity. At the same time, Zhen Zhen and Tian You became closer.. But yet.. Tian You grew to like Xiao Ling and so did Xiao Ling..
Later on, Fusheng was captured by Long Yi’s henchman. Zhen Zhen searches for him desperately.
At the same time, accidentally, Tian You reveals his vampire identity to Xiao Ling. She was shocked. Duty-bound to capture him, however, Xiao Ling could not bear to do so. However, she said that though she might not have killed him now, she would do so one day before she dies. Actually, in her heart, she knew that Tian You was a kind vampire and had no wish to kill him.
As the story goes on, Zhen Zhen turned out to look identical to Long Yi’s deceased wife and thus, he took a liking to her. He wishes to have her by his side. Worried for Zhen Zhen’s safety, XiaoLing confronts Long Yi together with Tian You. They fail to come to a compromise.
At the moment, Miao Yi came forward and propose for Tian You and Long Yi to return to 60yrs ago to save their previous self from being bitten by Vampire Commander. This would mean a change in history and thus, everything that happens now would not have occurred in the first place. Xiao Ling was advised to go with them so that she could combine power with Ma Danna and together, 2 drops of Ma Blood might be able to defeat the Vampire Commander.
Tian You and Xiao Ling was devastated and lost. If their mission was a success, it meant that Tian You would have never appeared in Xiao Ling’s life before and her memory of her would have never existed. On Tian You’s side, he hated the idea of fading away from others’ memory. Esp that of XiaoLing..
One night, they met by chance and confessed their feelings to each other. For that night, they wish to have the life of a normal person. Not one burdened with the Ma Family responsibility. Neither one of vampire. They went to the karaoke and sang together. With a digicam, they recorded down bits and pieces of that few previous moments spent together. Even though they knew this would disappear once their mission was a success..
Finally, the day came for them to return to the past and change their history. On their way, Xiao Ling could no longer hold back her feelings and leaned against Tian You’s chest. All this was seen by Zhen Zhen. Heart-broken, she left in a hurry and was knocked down by a car. Tian You however, pushed on and assured Xiao Ling that nothing would have happened if they succeeded in changing history. She agreed.
Before the threesome, Long Yi, Tian You and Xiao Ling, embarked on their journey, Miao Yi gave them a string each. It was not to be broken, otherwise, they face the risk of being lost in Time forever.
Just before they left, the news came that Zhen Zhen had died. However, they have come so far such that it was too late to turn back.
60years before..
They split to accomplish their mission. Xiao Ling to look for Ma Danna and the other two to look for their previous self as well as Vampire Commander. Finally they met again for the final battle against VC. At this moment, in 1999, one of Long Yi’s henchman could not bear returning to her previous self and be reduced to a commoner. Thus, she fiddled with their strings.
Xiao Ling’s string broke and was on the verge of floating away to Space to be lost in Time. Fortunately, Tian You pulled her back in time. However, he had missed the very second of preventing himself from being bitten by VC. His very last chance was gone. By the time he reached himself, Tian You in the past had already been bitten. His hesitation for a moment to save Xiao Ling meant a huge sacrifice on his part.
Failing in their mission, they returned to the present once again..
Before they left, Tian You wrote a msg to one of the villagers there. He passed words that this shld be handed down to his descendants. True enough, this move changed history. Zhen Zhen was not knocked down by the car. Instead, it was the descendant that was harmed.
Meanwhile, Zhen Zhen sees the recordings of Tian You and Xiao Ling and is heart-broken. Xiao Ling later on knows about it and confessed her feelings towards Tian You. However, she ensures that she is unable to fall in love with anyone and they will remain as friends forever.
Incidentally, Zhen Zhen finds out that she is the only solution left to save the world from utter devastation and she decides to give her heart to Long Yi. Armed with the digicam, she uses it as an evidence to show that she had truly given up on Tian You. Long Yi has his doubt and Zhen Zhen stabs herself and demand him to turn her into a vampire to prove her love for him.
Long Yi was about to do so when Tian You appeared. Once again, Long Yi knew that he had been had. Losing control of himself, he turns into a super vampire.
On the other side, Tian you was pressurized by the rest to bite Zhen Zhen in order to revive her. With the consumption of human blood, Tian You was too turned into a super vampire.
Long Yi and Tian You fights once again in their super vampire form. Ma XiaoLing and Ma Danna uses the opportunity to destroy Long Yi into ashes.
However, Tian you has already lost control of himself and turns to bite Xiao Ling. She was upset and plead with him to control himself. If he must, kill her, but don’t turn her into a vampire. With that, all emotions rushes into Xiao Ling and she shed a drop of tear for Tian You. Losing all her power, however, Tian you hesitated. Just then, a revived Zhen Zhen calls out his name too. Feeling lost and confused and stressed, he faints..
A year has passed.. Peace has been restored..
Tian You, in his unconscious state, had the same dream all over again.. About total destruction of the world, which he must stop. He wakes up then..
Advised by Xiao Ling and feeling guilty for turning her into a vampire, Tian You proposed to Zhen Zhen. Xiao Ling was devastated and heart-broken. An unsual and unhappy wedding then takes place.
At the same time, Jusan resurrect Long Yi and takes control of Zhen Zhen. All these were done in order to carry out the Moon Burial Rites. If he succeeds, Long Yi would absorb the Ultimate Yin force of the Moon and turn the world into a Supreme Hell.
Only the reincarnation of 5 brave warriors from the past together with Tian You can stop this from happening. Fortunately, Ma Danna reinstates Xiao Ling’s power, and disintegrates in the process. Though only 4 warriors appeared, they put up a brave fight.
Jusan then kills himself in order to take on Long Yi’s invincible body. After which he revealed that Long Yi is actually the last warrior. He and Zhen Zhen shared a destiny over a few thousands of years.
Xiao Ling and Tian You have been injured and Tian you is too tired to fight on.. However, with encouragement from the rest as well as from his dead wife, Xiu , he perseveres on and unleash the great power from the 4 brave warriors whom are actually stars. Long Yi too sacrificed himself and gives Tian You the strength. He releases all the power and finally kills Jusan..
Yamamoto Katsuo tells Zhenzhen: We’ve been waiting through the ages to be together always.
Below is the conversation between Xiaoling and Tianyou after the battle.
Tianyou: Xiaoling.
Xiaoling: Tianyou, will Zhenzhen and Yamamoto Katsuo be reincarnated?
Tianyou: They will be reincarnated. They’ll lead a happy life.
Xiaoling: What about me? I never thought I’d look at the moon in a vampire’s arms. If great auntknew about it, she’d be very angry. Remember what I said? The day I die, you’ll die too.
Tianyou: I remember.
Xiaoling: Forget it. I don’t have the strength to destroy you.
Tianyou: Don’t close your eyes. Don’t close your eyes. Don’t close your eyes.
Xiaoling: If I died, would you turn me into a vampire?
Tianyou: I won’t.Xiaoling: Why?Tianyou: Because I love you. I won’t turn the woman I love into a vampire. I’m neither a human nor a ghost. I live on blood. Don’t die. Tell me what I can do.
Xiaoling: We’ll meet again in our next lives. We will.
Tianyou: We will.
Lord Buddha and Guanyin give Tianyou a wish as they are touched after seeing all that had happened. Tianyou wishes that 60 years ago, he and Long Yi are not bitten by the Vampire Commander. His wish is granted.
With this, history was changed and Long Yi returns to Japan after being seriously injured. Fu Sheng was killed by Jap soldiers. There was no news of GuoHua.
Meanwhile in the present, Tian you appears. He is actually Guohua’s incarnation. Guohua is also his father. Xiao Ling and Tian You finds each other very familiar. Tian You asks: “Have we met?” Xiao Ling replies: “Maybe..”
