No Joey and Eric in MDWAV 4??
Actually so sad lorx.. Got some rumoours that Joey and Eric won't be acting in MDWAV4 because of their age. Sigh. Eg. Joey acted from 28 to the current 35 for the 3 series of MDWAV.
It's kinda sad how sensitive age issues are.. It's just 8yrs..
For me, i've become from 8 to 16.. The numbers stil look young..
However, Joey started young. 28. But a mere 8yrs, making her 35, makes her look old..
Sigh.. I guess when we're in the 20 going to 30+ region, the numbers seen makes us age numerically a lot..
Another rumour is more acceptable.. "3 series of same old cast and some ppl may get bored. thus the scriptwriter wanna use new casts to freshen up the show." Ok lorx. But actually many of us MDWAV fans watch the show precisely cause of Eric and JOey de lor.
i dunno why. HK actors' charm increases as they go older. And hk actress always look so much younger than their actual age. Joey never seem to age from her looks since 1998. Eric got more and more wei4 dao4 liao. more cool and stylo. And most fans in sg started to notice him at the end of MDWAV 2 or MDWAV3. For me, it's MDWAV 3, cause i seriously recall nothing of the previous 2 episodes..
Come on lei, Chen 13. I'm sure you meant MDWAV3 to be lots more interesting de lor. it's just that Joey got injured in the spine first day of shooting, that's why you gotta alter the script, makig it not as impactful.. But.. If you were to let MDWAV 3 to be a finale for the old actors esp. Eric and Joey, it's really unfair lor. They can't have a beautiful ending.. Plus, it's not their fault ma, it's jsut accident that no one wish for.. Just let them act on, k?
I begin to suspect that it's got something to do with Chen 13 being Joey's husband ( in reality ). They got married at the end of MDWAV 2 series. And I heard that Joey has got no wish to act in shows written by her husband because tongues may wage. So maybe they did face with some obstacles in MDWAV3 and so Chen 13 decided to take her out. And since Ma Xiao Ling is out, it makes no sense to leave Kuang Tian you in, thus eric goes out too.. Or maybe he heart pain that his wife is injured and decides to leave her out of this action-packed show..
