10 facts about vampires

Here's my personal views of what vampires are in real life:-

1) They do not have very sharp fangs, as exaggerated by most shows. Though their fangs might be of slightly longer length than normal humans, however, it is not till the extent that they look like some monsters.

2) They do not need blood to survive. Instead, they consume the same old usual food, just like msot of us. Blood is required for them to increase their strengths and abilities. Regular consumption would boost their power status. However, lack of blood doesn't mean that they'll go crazy and weak. It just means that they'll be reduced to a power level of an ordinary human. Excess consumption, on the other hand, could lead to addiction, which is just like drug addiction.

3) They do not live forever. They do die and reincarnate just like normal human beings. However, the sad thing is that, they don't forget their memories like every other humans. Instead, they retain their memories from their previous life and this accumulates along their numerous cycles of reincarnation. Still, they cannot retrieve past memories as and when they want to. They will be completely oblivious of this ability till one day, the memories of them being a vampire unveil itself.

4) Vampires are not monsters. They just belong to another species of organisms. Just as bats, classified as an animal, suck blood, vampires should not be classified as monsters, meant for ferocious beings that causes harm to other beings. Instead, they share similiar characteristics as humans, except for some "mutated" form of abilities.

5) They are afraid of sunlight. Not so. It's just that vampires really resist changes and have low adapting power. Thus, when they step out of their house into the bright sunlight suddenly, there is a tendency for them to show signs of rejections and disapproval. This accounts for the fact why they appear to be afraid of sunlight actually. Sudden change in stimuli is simply unacceptable!

6) I disagree with MDWAV's version of super vampires. They do not literally exist, though spiritually, there's such a thing. Just like humans, their hidden powers will be fully unleshed in times of difficulties when they will display their full blast of potential. It's just a matter of their willpowers and beliefs in achieving a certain goal.

7) Vampires are cold-blooded blood-sucking creatures of the night. This is the most untolerable label attached to vampires! First, as explained in MDWAV, they have feelings, just like anyone out there walking on the street. Next, they are not creatures of the night. Just that they prefer cold environment, and are super sensitive to heat. So, night, being a cooler time of the day, would naturally be prefered by the vampires. They do not carry out blood-sucking all the time. In fact, they never do suck blood from anyone living.

8) One does not change into a vampire when bitten. Lolx. This is such an absurd way of thinking, though entertaining. Vampires, as stated earlier, have the characteristics of humans and their behavioural patterns are decoded in their genes. Vampires are passed down along the generations, just like normal beings. The only thing being that there's only a small group of them around. And the memories will be reborned into the same line of generation once again. Don't ask the question of how the first vampire appeared then. It's the same logic as how the first human appeared. Which means, unexplainable and undeterminable and non-disclosable anyway.

9) As opposed to MDWAV's storyline, vampires do not give birth to mo xing. Instead, they're supp to get married and give birth. This is the stereotyped cycle bestowed upon the vampires, be it a good or a bad thing.

10) Vampires can be subdued and frightened off by garlics etc. Well, once again, they belong to the class of organisms. Such would mean that they are well and normal and can't be hurt by the mentioned things. However, they do have a greater sense of sensitivity towards the unknown. You could say that they're the transitional phase between humans and.. Ya..

In short, by far, MDWAV provides one of the most accurate interpretation of real-life vampires. Esp the way it portrays the red-eyed vampires. Oh ya, the eye thing is just part of the story plot. Real life vampires do not possess this fashion of ranking. Instead, it's by another method, seniority.
