Ma Xiao Ling Profile

Ma Xiao Ling
acted by: Joey Meng Qi Wen

Character analysis:
She's the 40th/41st descendant of the Ma Family and shoulders the responsibility of being a ghost buster.

On the surface, she's a stubborn girl and has the don't wanna "lost face" attitude. She's also a determined person. When she's scolding others ( esp if you refer to MDWAV 1 and 2, she scolding Zheng Zhong ), she's real sacarstic and seems to be totally unfeeling.

In actual fact.. She's someone cold and hard on the outside, but real fragile inside. Actually, she's soft-hearted and kind. ( refer to her saving Mimi in MDWAV 2 and not killing Tian You upon discovery that he's a vampire ) Xiao Ling is also someone who doesn't dare to express her own feelings freely ( refer to MDWAV 1 and 2. Dare not love Tian You for fear of hurting best friend Zhen Zhen and also due to her duty as a Ma descendant ) Deep inside her, just like any Ma Family descendant, she wishes to have love and freedom.. However, she has a firm belief that we can control and decide our own fate.

Her role in MDWAV 3:
- Return to Earth from PanGu.
- Travelled back to Song Dynasty and had the responsibility of bringing Jian Tou ( past life of Tian You ) back to 2004 to prevent the major calamity about to befall Earth.
- Once again, caught up with the task of battling against Fate.
- To change the content of Heaven Book by changing history. ( together with Tian Ya? )
